Valeria Lopez
Valeria Lopez is a Board Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Medical Dermatology. Ms. Lopez is Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds a Texas Medical Board Physician Assistant License.
Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Valeria graduated from Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Ms. Lopez continued her post graduate education at UTRGV where she obtained a Master Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Valeria’s interest in dermatology began during her clinical year of the physician assistant program where she completed a semester practicing under the guidance of Dr. Zeeshan Afzal in Edinburg, Texas. Valeria then completed her capstone project with Dr. Afzal specializing in Medical Dermatology. Ms. Lopez is passionate about her work and committed to providing high quality patient care to the community of the Rio Grande Valley.
